Project Play

For Parents

What Inspired Project Play?

A pediatrician once told me, "It's not the kids with skinned knees that I worry about, it's the ones without a scratch."

At Project Play, we are not experts who can spout statistics or medical theories about children. Project Play is a common sense response to what we believe is a change in the way kids today are living their childhoods. With all the additional pressure and responsibility placed on our children, Project Play was created to motivate parents to let their children just play. We hope the books become a guide in teaching children some great backyard games they can play with their friends. We hope that you will make playing imaginative games with friends a part of your child's experience.
