Libby is the life of the group. She sees the world through rainbow glasses and has a unique and sometimes eccentric take on things. Her friends always say, "no one will frown, with Libby around." She loves to talk and dress up and is particularly fond of her imaginary friend Abby.

Brad and Stephanie Clark have a messy house. Mrs. Clark is an environmentalist and very concerned about having her children experience and understand issues. Her heart is good but she gets into everything, not always finishing what she gets started. She lets Libby construct art projects and other busy work in the house. Brad is a professor at the University and his family does not always understand his intelligence. Libby has a little sister who is sweet and quirky too. Their cats Meemie and Princess roam the neighborhood.
