John is a quiet kid who loves to hang with the gang. Sometimes he heads home and no one even sees him leave. When he started playing with the gang, he didn’t know all the games but could run really fast. Now he is a great pick for any game.

John’s family moved to the neighborhood a year ago. Sam worked hard to get him to play with the group because he is shy. His parents, Tom and Rhonda, are both runners and John goes with them to many races. He has one little sister, Tanya, who is three.
